Barot

Jhanjehli

Jhanjehli is a beautiful valley located at a distance of about 70 kilometers from Mandi town. Jhanjehli valley is home to Shikaari Devi temple and wildlife sanctuary. The valley has many temples and one can also enjoy camping. The valley is accessible round the year except winters during the snowfall. So this is also amongst the serene tourist destinations of Himachal Pradesh.

Tirthan Valley

Tirthan Valley is one of the best secret places in Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of over 1600 meters above sea level and is blessed with the wealth of nature’s treasures. The Tirthan valley derives its name from Tirthan River, which originates from the snow capped peaks of Great Himalayan National Park. It is an ideal offbeat location for discovering the unexplored villages and trekking. One can also enjoy fishing as the crystal clear glacial waters of Tirthan River are home to an abundant population of rainbow and brown trout.

Sangla Valley

Sangla Valley is a beautiful valley located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh. It is located in the close proximity to Indo-Tibetian border. Interestingly, Chitkul in Sangla Valley is the last inhabited village on the border and the last destination in India that can be transversed with the need of permit. River Baspa flows alongside the valley which further adds up to the beauty of the valley.

Kheerganga

Kheerganga is one of the most beautiful offbeat places of Himachal Pradesh, located in Kullu Valley. It can be accesed by a four hour long moderate trek from Barshaini Village. It is said that Lord Shiva meditated here for thousand years. The most spectacular feature of the place is its hot springs which is believed to contain healing properties.

Malana Valley

Malana valley is a small village hidden in the beautiful landscapes of the Kullu Valley of Himachal Pradesh. The most interesting fact about this place is that its people are believed to be the direct descendants of Alexander The great. Infact, this place has its own administrative system, language and framework which resembles closely to Greek administrative system, language and social framework. The village can be accessed through a short trek and by means of a car from Zari Village.
